Late sunday night FIA announced that 6 of the cars in the Ford team was all awarded a 5 minutes penalty. Petter is now number 2, and Loeb passed Marcus in the championship.

Ford received the penalty because the rear windows, both sides, did not comply with the homologation. The windows should be 3,5mm - not 3mm as measured. Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen did not get the penalty as he drives a 2005 Ford.
