Starting to look very good, any ideas on its apearence? Rothmans or Euro colours for example.

For the first the car remains white, but later i would like to do it in bastos colours (like Guy Colsuls Car No.10 Monte Carlo 1982)

The car in the background was just sold to corsica (via rallycarsforsale.net) Maybe you saw the ad. It was the car from my friend.

De gebroeders barendrecht (hebben vroeger rallysprints met een ascona gereden) hebben ook een ascona 400 in hun bezit gehad, weet hier helaas geen kenteken van....

het klopt inderdaad dat de gebroeders BarendreGt rally hebben gereden met een ascona. Mijn vader LH Barendregt was bestuurder en mijn Oom HJ Barendregt was navigator, hij is tevens in het bezit geweest van een Ascona 400. Ik kan het kenteken voor je navragen en zal proberen er wat foto's van in te scannen en te posten als hier intresse voor is.

Did you by any chance asked Harry Steffens about certain details of the Bastos?

Is the other car the one of Frank Grave? i did not know it was sold already.
I know that another car (ascona 400) will be for sale soon, unfortunatly not with a pleasant reason.

No I didnt ask Harry about the bastos car. I only know that he is building a small car in this colours. Yes the Rothmans car was the car of Frank Gräfe. It was a original Factory car. You can find som pichtures of the car with the new owner here: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/rallye.team.mezzavia/. The other 400 which is unfortunately for sale now is the car of KP Gebhardt because he died on the 28.2.06 in the age of 47. (he had cancer). This car ran in the german yountimer rally trophy. KP was a nice guy an we are very sad in case of his dead.

So fast? I only heard about mid febuary he was very ill, but I didin't expected he would go so quickly, that is very sad news, my condolances to friends and family.
Harry asked me about a few details of this car, but it was confusing to see that his car altough it is red doesn't give the impression it was goinig to be a wide body, so I guessed it was for someone else.
